ad hoc Committee on the investigation of the fuel subsidy regime, Farouk
Lawan, on Thursday evening reported at the Louis Edet House,
headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force,
where he spent the night on interrogation.
The Deputy Force public relations officer, Frank Mba confirmed this to Channels television in a phone interview, when the embattled lawmaker arrived the force headquarters.
Mba added that the lawmaker is currently undergoing interrogations with police investigators, he however did not specify when the interrogation will end and if the police will detain the lawmaker in their custody.
