President Goodluck Jonathan on friday, few hours after returning from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he attended the just-concluded United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development, took an important decision we all saw coming to sack the two former government officials over the growing level of insecurity in the country.
The Defence Minister, Dr. Haliru Bello; and the National Security Adviser, Gen. Owoye Azazi have both been relived of their positions. Azazi put himself on the seat, after aggravating the president and members of the PDP, with his abysmal claim of the present state of insecurity in the country on PDP's zoning formula at the South-South Economic Summit, months ago.
